This is the massive follow-up single to Ohmega Watts
2004 sell-out debut. Featuring up n’coming West Coast act
the Procussions on the mics and Noelle from The Rebirth on the
catchy hook “That Sound” is a bouncy party track that’s
reminiscent of TCQ, the Heiroglyphics, or Leaders of the New School.
The Quantic Soul Orchestra step up to the plate with a super tasty
summertime funk remix for added DJ pressure - guitar licks and
Hammond organ add a wicked organic vibe.
On the flip Atlanta based Manchild (of Mars Ill, Blue Collar Sessions
and Raw Material fame), joins Big Rec (aka Reconcile) of Mass
Reality, and Braille of Lightheaded in a chunky head-nodding affair
over some truly rough & rugged beats!
Signing to Ubiquity for a full album after the acclaimed success
of his 2004 EP, producer / MC Ohmega Watts has come up with another
club-bound hip hop 12”. Watts is quickly stamping a unique
signature production sound on his tracks that build-up in energy
built on breaks that evolve and progress.
Ohmega Watts “The Find” album will follow later this
year, full of original hip hop and instrumental jams from Portland,
Oregon. Watch for a US tour this Fall.
