PPP FEATURING JAY DEE
“ACT LIKE YOU KNOW” PLUS REMIXES BY RICH MEDINA AND
GEOLOGY
Huge 2nd single from PPP Feat. Jay Dee + Exclusive
remixes by Brooklyn based Ge-ology & Philly's
Rich Medina.
The new single from the PPP is a dance floor
bound banger & hip-hop anthem featuring Detroit legend Jay
Dee (Producer for the likes of Slum Village, Tribe Called Quest,
De La Soul, Busta Rhymes, etc). The PPP album is one of the most
anticipated projects of 2005 with features already in Time Out
NY / London, Straight No Chaser, XLR8R, YRB, & upcoming features
in The Fader, Tokion, Trace, as well as a 'Track Of The Year'
nomination for their last single on the BBC Worldwide Radio Show.
The PPP are a two-man dynamic musical duo with
a fresh-faced blend of modern hip hop and soul to tempt the masses
and quench the thirst of an underground scene looking for something
original and twisted. Producers Waajeed (a founding member of
Slum Village and producer to heavyweights like Dwelle and Jay
Dee) and Saadiq began recording their “PPP” album
in Detroit and polished it off in New York City where they recently
moved. The album set for release on Ubiquity in April 2005 will
feature a who's who of guests including Jay Dee, Spacek, The Sa-Ra
Creative Partners, Lacks, Theo Parrish, Invincible, Georgia, &
Tiombe Lockhart.
