As One 12"
"Believer" (Harmonic 33 mix w/Danny Breaks)
b/w "Sanctified", "I Love You"

The new single from the UKs Kirk Degiorgio includes guest appearances from hot Chicago MC Diverse (Chocolate Industries) and Detroit Experiment/Black Mahogani vocalist Paul Randolph. This 12" also includes a remix from Warp Recording artist Harmonic 33 (aka Mark "Troubleman" Pritchard). Hip hop, Detroit soul, and rough broken beats all wrapped-up in one package!

The Harmonic 33 mixes (vocal and instrumental) of Believer are exclusive to this 12" (the original more radio friendly version is exclusive to the forthcoming album) and sees Mark Pritchard in top form with video game sounds, spacey moog and Detroit sounding synths. Harmonic 33 is Pritchards cinematic Hip Hop project recently signed by Warp Recordings. Pritchards mate Danny Breaks adds some serious cuts to the mix.

On the flip are two tunes highlighting the two extremes of the upcoming As One album. "Sanctified" is a bruising broken beat track that bounces along on a hard hitting rude bass line. "I Love You" is a tribute to and cover of a Weldon Irvine song. It begins very faithfully, like a sweet soul tune, but by the end has moved into deep As One territory with spacey keys and cinematic strings. Vocalist Paul Randolph has just released his debut on Kenny Dixon jr's Black Mahogani label and in addition to appearing on the Detroit Experiment album is a full-time member of Amp Fiddlers live act. This track has already seen airplay on cd-r on BBC Radio 1!

Marking a new start for UK producer Kirk Degiorgio these tracks are from the forthcoming "Out of The Darkness" album. This is Kirk in a groundbreaking new direction including bumpin' new hip hop and freaky soul tracks sitting pretty next to Kirks signature warm techy club sound, broken beats and ambient tunes. In addition to featured MCs include Atlanta-based Lacks and Chocolate Industries MC Diverse, plus soulful vocals courtesy of Detroit Experiment singer Paul Randolph, and UK-based vocalists Jinadu, and Cathy B.
