This
two track 12" is a limited-edition taster leading to the
release of the forthcoming P'taah album. Featuring an exclusive
Chris Brann mix of "Become Who You Are" that will not
appear on the album this is P'taah in super-funky-house meets
future-beats mode. Grab it while you can!
"Become Who You Are" features the vocals of Brann's
Ananda Project collaborator Terrence Downs and awesome keyboard
player Julius Speed. The album version is a broken/2-step style
tune, but for this 12" only Brann flips the beat to a straighter,
funky housey style.
"Nobody Knows" rocks with a cheeky bassline, the golden
vocals of New Yorker Sylvia Gordon and again that man Julius Speed
on the keys - it's jus' plain ol' rude!
