The
first single from Greyboy's new album is a stunner. Greyboy's
blending of beats and organics takes a neo-soul twist on his cover
of Syreeta's "To Know You Is To Love You." We honestly
think this is his best work to date.
Treating the original version (which was a Stevie Wonder production)
with respect Greyboy's cover has an '02 twist. Featuring awesome
vocals by Bart Davenport from the Kinetics & The Loved Ones,
plus Robert Walters keyboard work all backed by dope mid-tempo
Greyboy beats and atmospherics - it's good for club play and for
listening pleasure.
This single is LIMITED EDITION, with a follow-up due later in
the fall featuring a heavyweight remix name (TBA). Greyboy is
about 50% done with his new album, which features several vocal
performances and more club-friendly tracks than any of his previous
releases.
