GEORGE FREEMAN "FRANTICDIAGNOSIS"

"Franticdiagnosis", the notoriously difficult-to-find LP by this great guitarist gets a re-release on Luv n' Haight and reaches the wider audience it richly deserves. Main track is "The Bump," weird and wonderful in equal measure, a sparse and sprawling slice of psychedelic space-age jazz funk of the highest order. The album features tenor legend Von Freeman (George's brother and father of Chico Freeman) and Charles Earland on keyboards. An alternate take of "The Bump" can be found on the Luv n' Haight release, "Can't Get Enough". The original cut can be found also on "The Best of Luv n' Haight".
