Ubiquity Records is delighted to announce a new partnership with super-hot UK-based Fluid Ounce label. Ubiquity will be releasing the Fluid Ounce “Unmeasured” compilation on August 6h on CD and exclusive double vinyl LPs - unavailable anywhere else in the world.

Each release on this young label has been essential, whether it’s the infectious club sounds of Zero dB, the electro-inspired new breaks of Carmel, top Canadian DJ/producers Moonstar and John Kong, or the laidback pure chill-out vibe provided by the Vogado project - every one is a winner. So much so that in addition to nods of respect from all the right DJs (Gilles Peterson, Kruder and Dorfmeister and Rainer Truby have all charted Fluid Ounce releases heavily) the Fluid Ounce crew have been asked to provide remix treatment to Suba, the Peace Orchestra and even Sun Ra.

As a brand new new indie-label with only vinyl releases they don’t have the muscle to sell more than a few 12”s in the USA and Canadian markets – but we’ve heard the quality, seen the European response and think it’s time to let the Fluid Ounce sounds loose on the general public! Other upcoming releases include the Zero dB remix album, and the highly anticipated Zero dB full-length album.
