with Irakere in the late 1970s. It was unreleased until now. Featuring
Poncho Sanchez, this album will delight fans of the trumpet and
timbale playing legend who is as recognized in the classical world
as he is in the jazz arena. A recent HBO movie aired Sandoval's
life story and touched on times spent with musicians as varied as
Dizzy Gillespie, Frank Sinatra, Herbie Hancock, and Gloria Estefan.
